Jason Schmidt Picks Up Right Where He Left Off

Turing Back to Clock all the Way to 2006

Turing Back to Clock all the Way to 2006

Like riding a bike, baby.  Raise your hand if you didn’t see this coming:
Top 1st: Cincinnati
- W. Taveras tripled to deep center (almost a HR from a guy who has hit 1 all season)
- J. Hairston Jr. doubled to left, W. Taveras scored  (murderer’s row)
- J. Votto singled to deep right, J. Hairston Jr. to third  (this one is fine, Votto is a star and we at the Bias love Joey Votto)
- J. Hairston Jr. scored, J. Votto to third on R. Martin’s throwing error  (shakes head sadly)
- B. Phillips singled to deep right center, J. Votto scored  (yep)
- B. Phillips out at second  (yahoo is confused)
- L. Nix flied out to center  (Schmidt has retired 2 in a row, story at 11:00)
- E. Encarnacion walked  (Don’t want to face that power)
- C. Dickerson fouled out to third  (and his teammates all made fun of him)

3 runs, 4 hits, 1 errors
Cincinnati 3, LA Dodgers 0

Welcome back, Jason.  Welcome back.

* Update: Dodgers score 4 in the bottom of the first.  And there was much rejoicing.

**Update: Dodgers score 2 more in the second.  Manny bomb.
